My working method is structured under the initial approach of generating a plethora of intuitive material experimentations. Then examining the multitude of outcomes to find which works can be read clearly by viewers visually in relation to the idea behind my works.
The source material I am highlighting is the current limitations in language within both culture and society during the ongoing quest for representing objective reality truthfully.
I generate ideas for work by deciding what I consider relevant to contemporary culture brought to light by personal experiences in contemporary times. I then reflect on those experiences in its relation to a larger audience by addressing contemporary theories in psychology, and sociology through linguistics.
I execute ideas by thinking of experiences that lead me to culturally significant words then its relation to linguistics like the meaning or the lack of meaning in the words. The words are inspired by experiences and are what I consider relevant to the personality of the contemporary world. The form the text creates when presented is also thought about, as well as how to present the work. Initial ambiguity for the viewer in the text is important in my work so as the viewer must examine the work more closely and contemplate the meaning of such ambiguity in presentation, leading them most often to linguistics. I’m often sketching an idea for a complete composition of a work in the matter of minutes dealing minimalistic in composition in sketch and the final presentation.
