What I really admire about Suzan Frecon's work is her incorporation of different types of color field within a piece. The combination of opaque passages with translucent in the blue piece creates interesting plays with space and depth. I also enjoy the monochromatic paintings, like the red one, where the field is divided into specific parts to create a delicate atmosphere.
The third image is a drawing I did with latex and pastel.
